Our Story
My Dad introduced our family’s pierogi recipe to me when I was about seven years old. At that time, it took the whole family and the entire weekend to crack out a couple dozen pierogi. My Dad rolled and cut out circles, I stuffed with filling (and probably ate more than went into the pierogi), my brother sealed, my sister forked and handed off to my Mom who boiled. We struggled to find room to put all the pierogi over any flat surface we could!
Fast forward to present and one thing has remained consistent; my Dad and I. Ever since I could remember, I wanted to go into business making pierogi and sharing it with the world. Poppy Ski’s Pierogi is truly an homage to my family, its traditions and mostly, my Dad. From our kitchen table, to yours; we’d love for you to join our #PierogiSquad
